We sneaked into Riders Café one weekend for brunch, only because my dad (who only swears by local delicacies) wasn’t free due to a badminton game. And yes, there we were at Riders Café just beside the PIE Eng Neo Exit.
To be honest, I expected to be swarmed with horse poo the moment we entered the premises, but they managed to ward off the stench some how or rather! We could then focus on the food laid before us – a neat (and Instagram worthy) blend of typical all-day breakfast.
I ordered “The Usual” – a name that probably aims to take a sarcastic swipe at consumers for always choosing the usual dish on the menu. But I’m at the least concerned if I’m able to get my morning fix, along with an iced cold latte!
We also bagged the rosti and sausage, a less traditional meal but equally satisfying no less. And we rounded off the calorie-infused meal with something even more sinful – a chocolate cake topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Thick, chewy, sweet, penetrating and unforgettable. Signing off – Death by Chocolate!
